marketing tip for free:

people that use the word "Guru" in their persona in the adult biz, tend to have a lifespan of sucess that lasts about 20 minutes. in almost 10 years, there has only been one exception.

yes. call yourself "guru apprentice" -this way people will accept the occasional error on your part, yet you still maintain this presence that suggests you are somehow above everyone without being too pretentious.

They always do contests like this one GFY. Gives the other (maybe more experienced guy) a chance to do something... In different words.. Let him do what he's doing HIS way.. and YOU do things YOUR way

I'd encourage all designers to watermark their headers. I'm not implying anything, just for the peace of mind of every part involved due to the well known history of fake designs at GFY

This type of logo wouldn't cost more than $50 from a designer.. Why would I be paying $150? I am just trying to get the best logo I can and have a freelance design guy get some cash for a small amount of work.

Becuase you want quality, rather than some generic template that's probably been used and abused 5-10 times already.

Btw, I don't mind the contest, I just found it to be a funny way to get a logo. Too each his own!

If I'd have enough free time I'd submit something myself.
