    Why don't more people use eGold?

    I'd use it if I could figure out how to easily get money into it...

                      First and only time I did programming work for someone I didn't know online was for a dude who wanted to pay by eGold. Dude turned out to be a horrid client and never paid.

                                  Yeah, I have an account but you can't get money out. There are _services_ that buy your egold and pay you via paypal or stormpay for +1% but such a hassle.

                                          eGold has a very bad reputation for its use by scammers because it's completely anonymous and is therefore under constant government surveillance.

                                          If you want to use something similar that is reputable and built on a solid foundation, then go with http://www.goldmoney.com/. They have a business model built to last. I'd trust it like I trust a bank account.

                                          eGold... I'd only give them 10% of the trust I give ePassporte, and that's not saying much.
