I agree that health care costs in the US are way over priced. Prescription drug companies OWN this country.

However, have you seen what you get for minimum wage? It's hard to get your order right at a fast food place, much less your body. I believe doctors and nurses deserve to be paid more than other workers. They worked hard for their practice and schooling, and should be rewarded more than other's are like athletes and other celebs in the US. These are human lives afterall.

If the cost of prescription drugs came down to what it should be, then overall health care would be more affordable. The whole system needs a complete overhaul but I'd be happy to see some small changes.

I'm willing to pay a reasonable price for health insurance etc. because I believe you do get what you pay for (usually) but the costs are out of control.

This governemnt allows and even encourages the prescription drug companies to have way too much control over cost and the industry itself. Just like the oil industry. The US as a whole has so many fucked up policies, laws, and systems it's ridiculous. Bureaucracy at its finest.
