AUSTIN, Texas - FightTheDotXXX.com, a website expressing adult industry opposition to the proposed dot-xxx sponsored Top Level Domain (sTLD), has been launched by Acacia opponent and FightThePatent.com owner Brandon Shalton.

On the site, along with the history of dot-xxx, news, and opinions, is an interesting list of companies who are outwardly opposing the sTLD. Along with the usual, vocal suspects ? Free Speech Coalition, YNOT, SmashBucks ? are 21 other companies and individuals, including players like Adam & Eve, Homegrown Video, and The SCORE Group.

Shalton will be soliciting more companies in the next few days and then plans to send the resulting list to the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), which will ultimately decided whether to give dot-xxx final approval on September 15.

That is the only reason they are backing it - they were to get PAID!

I am not sure what the problem is with most people that are in the Adult biz in general. You dont have to be a program owner to feel what will happen in the very near future what will happen is you dont act on this very serious topic.

All you have to do is add your name.

If you dont, you will be paying 75 dollar per domain of every single domain you own to start. That is a fact......so if you own 50 domains you will pay $3750.00 every year, if you own 100 that is $7500.00 per year.

I like the fact we renew at 8 bucks per domain every year, and it runs great.
