We just released a StatsRemote update. Quite a few programs have been fixed and added.
Any more suggestions?Comment

If you are NOT using Stats Remote and you make at least $300 a month, you are an idiot...
Why? Because you are logging into each sponsor separately and wasting a lot of time you should be spending on other tasks.
Think about it... Time is money and although your time isn't worth shit at this point you need to pretend it is. Other wise your time will always be worth less than $1 an hour.
You have to pay to play in business if you want to succeed. Now you will know where your hits are at a glance... you can strategize better. You can see when sales come in without obsessively checking at each sponsor wasting a lot of time.
I got SR back when I was making about $170 a month... Guess what, I started making a lot more money because SR allowed me to see the big picture. Now I make over $10K a month... I won't say to how much over but lets say I make over $100 an hour... I don't think I could have done it without SR.
BTW.. SR costs approx. 17 cents per hour to use. Based on a 40 hour work week. So less than 1% of my income pays for 25% of my needed information. That is a fucking awesome ROI!Comment

I just checked an very few programs actually provide this info in their online stats. Most programs only provide one value (total revenue) or they have a separate value for chargeback/refund amount but not many provide a separate value for rebill revenue.
ThanksIf you are NOT using Stats Remote and you make at least $300 a month, you are an idiot...

Ok here are mine. Thanx for a great product btw, been using it for years
Your top priority should be to fix your memory management/cpu utilization!!! the sofware just eats it up like a monster and i have 2GB of RAM with p4 processor.
others:
1. Grouping is definitely a must. Current application is not project-friendly
2. Setup program payperiods. Right now matching SR data with accounting is a nightmare.
3. Provide an easy way to export the data. Right now I have to go into Details for each sponsor, select date range, copy data, paste into excel, save. And then do this for 1000 different sponsors
An easy export feature is long overdue, I think.
4. Allow recurring custom expenses. (ex. hosting expenses, ads, etc)
5. fix overture (for those that upgraded to new system)

We did a lot of optimizations in the last years and I can't see this here. I have more than 1500 accounts in my StatsRemote and I can work on my computer without any problems when StatsRemote is running and checking stats. Usually StatsRemote uses 24 simultaneous connections. If needed you can change this as follows:
1.) Close StatsRemote if it's running
2.) Go to C:\Program Files\StatsRemote
3.) Open StatsRemote.ini in a text editor
4.) Enter a new line with the following:
ThreadPoolSize=12
5.) Save StatsRemote.ini
6.) Start StatsRemote
In this case it would be reduced to 12.
This should be implemented later this year.
The problem is that there are no consitent pay periods. Some programs let you choose the pay periods, the pay periods depend on your minimum payment amount, etc... We plan to add a payment tracking feature though, but you will need to mark it manually.
Noted...
File -> New Custom Entry... or you could use our custom stats feature which was released two months ago. You can find more info on the custom stats on our board... Subject: 'Sticky: New features in StatsRemote 3.9'.
The new stats are supported already. You need to add a new account to StatsRemote and select 'Yahoo! Search Marketing' as program type. We couldn't just change the Overture routine since many accounts are not upgraded yet. For example, I have three accounts and two have been upgraded while one hasn't been upgraded yet.Comment

I second this suggestion. Stacking each CCBill program up against non ccbill programs on the main page would be great for easy comparisons.Originally posted by JPJB, I just though of another wish I have problems, because I cannot see all of the programs on one single page, I mean I can see the main list of programs and ccbill breakdown separately. A really nice feature would be to somehow include a ccbill breakdown in the main list, so I can track and compare ccbill programs with standalone ones. I hope you understand what I mean
Another suggestion, partner with a company with an accounting software program. Co-develop a new version of Stats Remote with expanded accounting capabilities or direct tie in with a second program, call it SR-Accounting and corner the market for webmaster specific accounting software. Also add in a feature that compares payments received to actual sales.
Then you have two products, a premium one for the big shots and the original SR for the smaller guys.
Ive been looking for a better accounting program and was thinking how perfect that would be.Comment

Using StatsRemote for accounting purposes is kind of dangerous IMHO. StatsRemote is a stats checking software and reads the numbers from the stats areas. For example, it happens quite often that companies change their stats and due to the changes StatsRemote displays wrong numbers. Usually we fix it as soon as we notice or somebody reports it, but there have been cases when nobody noticed it for quite some time because the difference between the numbers in the online stats and the numbers in StatsRemote was really small.Another suggestion, partner with a company with an accounting software program. Also, the revenue displayed in StatsRemote often doesn't match your actual payout... wire fees, epassporte fees, check fees, etc. That's why I usually don't recommend to use StatsRemote for accounting purposes. I don't know about your tax laws but our accountant would go crazy if we used StatsRemote for accounting.Comment

Option to have an email sent when either a program in the expense section, such as a PPC search engine, reaches a certain CPC or $$$ amount or a program goes to a red status square.Comment

It will take some time but there will be
A customizable email feature is on our to-do list

An export all stats function to a specific CSV file.
This feature should also be able to run automatic without userinteraction.
I would use these data with the counted clicks out from our own system and we would be able to see exact ratios and amount pr click.
The reverse would also be great.
To import your own clicks numbers.
Each program should have an ID which you log with each click and a date/time stamp.
Make a format ST would be able to import and we would be able to compare what the programs show us and what we actually send them.
I would like both options implemented.Comment
