Anyway, Meetro is a chat client that triangulates your IP to determine how far away you are from other users. For example, if we are both on Meetro and I live on the other side of town, when I logon and see you online, it will tell me that you're, say, 3 miles away. Or, if we're both in a Starbuck's in New York using the service, it will say that you are 180 yards away, and then I could message you and say hey, I am right down the road from you. And if you were a fine looking young lady, things could happen. Think of it of MySpace in realtime.

Yes it works, it doesn't use GPS though, it uses IP triangulation. You can set different distances you want it to look for, for example it can show you people online within a 500 yard radius, a mile radius, a 10 mile radius, and so on.Originally posted by tapatioCool looking product.
