Is it me - or do more and more females sign up for paysites?

I'm getting a interesting pattern from the last 8 months to our male Pay site
More and more females sign up for it, judging by the user-name's...

... or is it the husbands that use their wife's credit card and name?

.. and why Gay/male convert so much better than female/straight?
There should be enough Gay pay sites out there by now, so it cant be the lack of pay sites

I have several confirmed female members, but they're mostly lesbian, not bi. There are a few couples who sign up with the woman's card, too.

But the female market is sooo hard to tap into...

I admire your optimism, but as someone who has done 8 figures through paycom, i can tell you that they wont spot shit. Additionally, they won't tell you what they do, claiming its proprietary information.

I ban all womans names for a reason and i do not rely on the credit card authorization as proof of a valid card... because its not. I understand that some sites might have legitimate female users, but for my sites, they are 99% fraud everytime. It's not worth the risk and besides, you will see in 60 days if they are legit or not and devise some means to manage the risk. I am not sure what NATS is supposed to find. As far as I know, they have nothing to do with authorizing a credit card.

its a site that focus on naked straight males, so I imagine 95% are either gay or female.. it would be pretty bad if I banned every female member.

But I sure understand your point of view

i dont mean that they deal with fake signups, i mean that stolen cards get past them. some kid can easily grab a card number from a forum for stolen cc #'s and join a site with it. he can get caught by their system sometimes for example, because they can verify in real time how many times that card was used that day, with what frequency and so on, so they would know if a stolen card was posted and it was suddenly used 5 times in 20 seconds. but its not always fullproof.

in our case for example with live video chat, we have learned from experience that a womans name on a card means 99% chance of it being a stolen card, mothers card, wifes card etc etc and will ultimately be charged back for us. live chat also has much higher transaction volumes per card/user so we have that added vulnerability that a pay site does not.

anyway, i wish you luck. with epoch, you will know in 60 days if they are valid or not as the chargebacks are processed and posted to your stats. but i would be weary. we had a huge rush of stolen cards with womans names in the last few months - most of them mastercard. mastercard is cracking down and starting to enforce their 1% threshhold since june, so be careful which is a complete nightmare unless you have a very high transaction volume.

Our site is very extreme, and you wouldn't think ladies would like that sort of stuff, but we get maybe 3% of our members being ladies. I'd say a lot of them are using stolen cards..

We even had one mother last month email me asking to cancel a set of usernames as her 14 year old son had used her card to join our site so it does happen..

i had a guy a couple months ago using that same line of bullshit - "dear sir, i came home today and was shocked to see that my 14 yr old son had joined your site blah blah blah... please refund my card immediately.... blah blah blah". surfers are not the idiots they were in 97. ;)
