Anyone run psuedo mainstream humor sites?

By "pseudo" you mean funny vids surrounded by porn banners?

there's tons of them... so I guess there's enough $ for people to keep at it. A big one in this 'genre' of sites is Stile Project. There's quite a bit of these types of site. No wonder.... they are quite easy to promote.

Looking for something with ORIGINAL content and a smaller base.

I had about 20 of them few years back, total waste of time compared to porn sites as far as $$$$ goes
my main site had one gazillion back links, and it received shitload of SE hits

2 ways to make money with similar sites IMO:
- 1 big site that you'll spend hours daily to promote, get back links etc which might or might not bring you some serious $$ after couple of years
- shitload of smaller sites, that run some autoupdating scripts, and by shitload I mean 200+ to see some real money

I dont agree. I have a tad bit of experience with this and I'm telling you if its done RIGHT and with a little bit of class and THOUGHT (something the StileProject and those types lack in a BIG way) it can be VERY lucrative. I don't promote random programs very often on my little toy site , I'm picky. I show some discretion and target my audience. One banner snuck into the right place converts VERY WELL for me. It's all about knowing who your surfers are.


It's NOT about posting a vid of some japanese girl pooping leeches out of her ass and hoping that the people watching it buy a membership to the BangBros site that you have 18 banners for on that particular page.

Thats why I promote SG sites. Thats what my surfers want. They arent stupid, they want to feel involved and they wanna know that by entering their CC# into a form that they just didnt sign their soul away into the grinder.




Shit dude, I get 3k of donations to that site a month. I make twice that in affi money.


I'm sure not many people will understand this. GOOD.

why the hell do you wanna put adult sponsors on that type of site ?
