Its not very likely that you wanna inform a friend over a paysite and in that way admitting that you are a member there.

but if they wanna fill it in they will fill it in.

I've been considering this as a form of "viral" promotion, but decided against it. Here are some pros and cons that I listed:

      Pros:
      - you get a personal recommendation for your site, from one friend to another.
      - you get the recommendations sent to a somewhat targetted audience (friends tend to know each other's tastes).
      - you don't force people to make the recommendation, but at the same time you don't have to run around e-mailing people about your site, those whose friends think they'll like your site will endorse it to them.

      Cons:
      - given the (adult) nature of your site, you may not end up getting as many recommendations as you think.
      - ANYONE can use your form, or use scripts to abuse it.
      - Get one tight-ass to cry SPAM (eventhough the recommendation may be legitimate) and you may end up in bigger trouble than what you bargained for

The last two of the CONS are what kept me from using such a system, provided it would be used in a public area. You might eliminate the abuse issue if you place the system within a password-protected members area, but you can still get some tight-ass to cry spam and report you. This may have enough unwanted consequences even for non-US sponsors, so personally I wouldn't gamble on it.
