Good luck finding a 'house' worth buying for under 350k. Home owners insurance for a 350-600k home west of I95 went from average 2400 to 8200 a year in the past year from miami to west palm. stack property tax on that. then in most chances, community and association fees.

I've lived here for 30 years - my whole life. And now I have to move out of the state b/c there is no such thing as a good starter home in Sofla, unless you want to live in shit. Moving out of state, buy in a year a nice house for under 300k, spend a few years and try to move back to FL with some equity. No doubt I'll be back here, this is my home. But when I do I doubt it'll be anywhere south of palm beach. Too frickin crowded as it is now!
