anyone that is secure with their relationship does not need a goofy proposal in front of 1000s or a massive wedding. if two people truly love each other, being together should be enough without turning it into a massive spectacle in a goofy attempt to hold themselves responsible to each other by involving as many witnesses as possible. its like all the people announcing that are going to lose weight on this forum or achieve some other goal.. the only reason for that is to go on record and try to hold themselves accountable where they already know they lack the self discipline to do it on their own.
