Well the Brazilians are like that, a LOT of the instructors and black belts will fight for almost any reason and a lot of them encourage their students to do the same. They consider it training. They're all really cool and nice to their students though, it's just outsiders who they think have offended them that they'll go off on at the drop of a hat.
