Thanks to the genetically engineered parasite that all humans have circulating throughout their bodies thanks to those filthy feline fleshbags, humans are compelled to take in as many cats as possible into their homes. The more cats they own, the heavier concentrated the parasite becomes in their bodies and thusly the cycle repeats itself. The feline parasite urges them to bring more and more of those filthy bastards into their home until eventually you have the crazy cat ladies who would rather feed their ?pets? rather than eat themselves. Eventually the crazy cat lady dies and the cats will consume her body then move on to the next target.
