Mardi Gras is what? One of the biggest economic boost for New Orleans. Its a huge money maker for that poor state.
Has anybody thought about what is going to be the aftershock for that state. Besides the fact the NOLA is under water.
NOLA could become the new Venice of the USA. Instead throwing beads tourist will flock there to ride in Gondolas.
So where will you go for Mardi Gras next year. We normally prepay for a place on bourbon street. Obviously we cannot get a hold of anybody there right now.
In a few years we tell our children while taking them on a Gondola ride. I remember when I was younger we used to stand on THIS street, flashing, getting beads. Mardi Gras is history, or is it?
