Man that is awesome.

Like really, this guy has so much money and owns companies that are the #1 in so many different industry's he's just fucking bored. The only company he has to fight against now days is Google and good on him for getting psyched up about it, he obviously loves what he does...

By chasing down Google and trying to kill them it's only going to drive internet technology into a whole new era, Google has their fingers in many different pies and if microsoft wants to compete with that then they will both be lifting their game by building better, faster and stronger services.

End of the day there should be some good new tech developed over the next few years because of it :D

Word is both Ballmer and Gates are notorious thrashers on employees that fuckup or leave for a competitor.

Ballmer is known to throw chairs and things off his desk at employees during meetings in his office.

Gates is known to publicly berate and humiliate people that screwup.

I'm not sure if they'll do that for a long ass time. I wouldn't be suprised if Google buys Linux or Apple in the next decade though.
