Anyone aware of any laws which expressly prohibit the filming of porn in the sooner state? I have checked around... cannot find anything real serious... and I am going to start playing with my camera this weekend.

OK, so I have to go to California? Isn't there ANYWHERE ELSE where one can get away with this? Other than maybe Florida? It gets tiring seeing the same old areas as the backdrops, would be fun to see something new for once.
I know you have to keep 2257 documentation, ID copies and such. How would they prove where you shot your porn? Most hotel rooms look the same, etc. And even if they were able to prove that it was shot at a particular location, how would they get interested in proving that anyway? I am just trying to figure out how the process would get started.

Actually PleasurePays (don't know him from adam) was a bit harsh in how he said it (it is GFY), but he really did give you some solid advice. You really need to speak to an adult entertainment lawyer, and learn about Community Standards, and Obscenity prosecutions. Your ads alone looking for models is going to put you in the cross hairs in your state. For you to ask this question (on GFY, instead of hiring a lawyer before diving head first into one of the most "gray area" occupations in America) means that you really are about 20 steps ahead of yourself. California is the ONLY court approved LEGAL place to shoot 2 people that you've paid having sex. And, for your information.... a good chunk of Florida is a BIG NO-NO on even shipping porn too (take a look at the FAQ pages on any adult DVD rental place and you'll see that none of them will ship to Northern Florida). California is the only state where its explicitly not illegal to shoot non-obscene porn thanks to 1988's California vs. Freeman case.
Every other state its either a grey area or illegal because there have not been such judgements by courts in other states.

I lived on the Texas/Ok border... I don't know of any laws, but a I would suggest staying out of the little towns, shoot/model wise. The sheriffs can simply make up the rules as they see fit - law or not.
Stick to Ok City, and some of the other larger areas and you shouldn't have any issues.
