Need nice location for a shoot in LA

My client used the words "modern" and "swanky" so most of those location houses in the valley do not fit at all.

I know of many houses like that in West LA, Santa Monica, Venice, and Malibu but this is a hardcore shoot and that tends to limit my choices.

I need this for Friday the 23d of this month.

What I would prefer is one large room with large windows. I would like to be able to point lights into the room from outside the windows so if that room is on ground floor or has a deck/balcony outside then that would be best.

I would prefer 10' or higher ceilings.

I don't care if this one large room is in an apartment or in a mansion. I will just use that one room for the shoot.

I will begin to set up that morning and will be out by sunset. No crew, just myself, the make up artist, and the female and male talent. The male talent will only be there for about 2 hours.

I am very very careful, repectful, and discreet when I am shooting.

Make some cash, have some fun, beat off in the corner- I don't care. I just want a nice place with good energy to shoot at on Friday the 23rd.

I can bring my own furniture for them to "make love" on if you wish.

Problem with hotel rooms is that they are often too small for the lighting set up I use. And I never use beds for the talent to fuck on so I would have to move the bed.

Plus, check in time is usually like 2 pm or later and I shoot with lots of daylight so by the time I sneak all my equipment in and get set up the sun has already set. So I would have to get the suite for 2 days and then the costs would be insane.

Keep in mind it could be a one bedroom apartment. I don't care as long as it has one large room, high ceilings, big windows, has a balcony or ground outside the windows, etc. This description is not set in stone, as long as it looks modern and is very stylish I am cool with it.

Greg, your work looks very nice base on previous threads. I haven't been to LA in years so I can't help you with locations but I had a question, if you don't mind. What kind of lights do you intend to point through a window from outside a house to illuminate the room indoors? I would imagine that they must be pretty powerful to pull that off! Are you using super bright HMIs? Or do you just normally use several daylight balanced fluorescents plus the window's daylight to light your sets like many shooters use nowadays?

I change it up from shoot to shoot. Those HMIs are way too cost prohibitive to own and renting them eats up 100% of your profit. ( in porn that is)
