i set my 404 to catch alls.. whatever I'm pushing on the domain gets the 404, or when i submit galleries. i set an htaccess at the gallery root to be the tour link. my last gallery on al4a sent over 1k to the sponsor thru 404's (and about half that thru actual clicks)

i also use a special technique when naming html and folders to encourage surfers to try to browse my folders.. and they always just get slammed into my 404's

But don't you think you could be making more money throwing up your own page? FPC pays $3 per k, so you'ld only need 10k hits to get a sale to make the same amount of money yourself...

And in my experience, even 404 traffic lets you have a better ratio then 1:10'000....
