NEW YORK Two big names in hip-hop want to help victims of Hurricane Katrina. Diddy and Jay-Z have pledged one (m) million dollars to the American Red Cross.
And they hope others, especially African-Americans, will give, too. Jay-Z tells The Associated Press he's called N-B-A star LeBron James and fellow rapper Kanye (KAN'-yay) West, seeking donations.
Jay-Z tells the A-P when he watches coverage of the disaster, he sees "a lot of black people on the streets" and reminds people that victims of the storm "have been hit hard."
To all the racists on the board...At least Black people tend to look out for each other more than "lighter" shades...
Game and 50 have donated millions to their respective charities. Millions to them is alot more than Millions to Gates, Dell and so on.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Gates gave 15 BILLIONS of his fortune to africa.

steal another company idea?
force monopoly software through your ass?

Maybe it's because you call the lighter shades racist when they want to look after each other but idolise the black man when he says black power?
why do you guys have to turn this into a contest to see who donates the most ammount of money? Expecting somebody to give a certian ammount of money just because they have more is never fair and if the homeless tried to pull that shit on regular people you'd all be outraged.

Yup hes given 20 billion of his money away. About 33% of his total worth.
Recording artists aren't as rich as some of you may think. Most cars are leased, jewelery is rented, and homes are borrowed...so do you actually believe what you see? Correct me if I'm wrong....
the looters in NOLA are going to push back racism against them back to around 1950.... any progress made during that time is more than likely null and void... som nom na as they say in Thailand
