I am sure alot of you do not realize the scope of getting the aid there. It will take time, but help is coming, my national guard friend is working in GA and we talked tonight and the amount of pallets of material being flown there is incredible, the problem is the people cant get out and it is just as hard to load the stuff into NO. It takes time to get the ships loaded and sent. I just wish the thread of the leavies breaking over the last 40 years was taking more seriously all these years. It sucks.Comment

I have a friend who has lived in the US his whole life and never once travelled to Canada, he sounded much like yourself with all the hate towards Canada because of the war... well about a month ago he met a girl from Montreal and he went a few weeks ago to visit her for a few days, he fell in love with the country and came back here to the US, sold his house and moved to Canada...
He was shocked at how nice the people were and the service you receive in stores and resturants and how clean the streets were...even though Canada is a very multicultural Country (or as your ignorant ass referred to it "Terrorists" ) there is no ignorance.
I really hope Bush changes his mind, at least for the sake of the all the people in danger.
