Have you missed the amount of things that ARE being DONE by orgs like the RED CROSS, SALVATION ARMY, companies like United Airlines, Greyhound, States like Georgia, and Texas, cities like Chicago, Raleigh, Atlanta, et al??? Help is being sent, but given the scope of the destruction and human suffering it seems insignificant...but it is getting there...but even getting there is a hardship as not only can't people get out, but help can't get in fast enough...15 trucks of goods left raleigh this AM for the Baton Rouge staging area from the Red Cross and 10 more left this evening...and that's just raleigh...this is a catastrophy inlike anything the US has ever seen...EVER!!!!! but help will arrive and be distributed...on another thread it was asked where's jesse jackson??? with a bunch of rude commentary...he is in baton rouge helping unload and reload goods to be sent to NO, Gulfport, Jefferson Parish and Biloxi in the AM...he will accompany the trucks to NO and assist in loading the victims on the trucks for thre return trip to Baton Rouge....so as I said...US is helping the US...and the rest of the world is welcome too if they choose to help...not EVERYONE is as narrow minded as kosta....it is a logistical nightmare, but it is getting there...slowly, but picking up speedOriginally posted by Scootermuze
