Peru is one of the shittiest places I've ever been. Even the airport smelled like a garbage dump - exacty like it does in Cairo, actually.
Granted, they have some awesome sites to visit that will blow your mind. But the day-2-day life there really was a bummer. If I can avoid it I will never set my foot there again.
Just me, perhaps. My parents loved it there, so each to his own I guess.
