Anyone know anything about Directnic domains?

Should I be transfering a few of my sites from them to another registrar? Like if they run out of diesel will the domains fail?

You should be fine for domain registration and name servers.

But they can only go on backup power for so long there? Not like they are going to be there for months running on diesel.

Would be nice to get an email from Directnic saying that the florida datacenter is now your master for dns and registrations and such.

I'm pretty sure MikeAI posted they have a backup plan with a datacenter sharing arrangement if they lose the fort in New Orleans.

Everything will be fine and they have enough juice to run for 3 weeks.

How come directnic won't move their domains now to florida, what happens when they lose their last oc3 connection? Domains don't resolve?

This makes no sense to me.
