I can tell you as a guy, with a few relationships under his belt, that the only reason he is even bothering to email you and tell you this is because he still misses you. Otherwise, he would pay as much attention to you as I do to my ex-wives. Seriously, if he isn't into you he wouldn't waste his time.
However . . . the same could be said about you. The fact that he has your email address, or that you have his (and apparently use it) tells me you must have feelings for him too. Denial isn't a river in Egypt.

Honestly I have no feelings for him at all besides friendship. We had been talking just as friends. We did not have a bad break up and we were friends. I am friends with all of my ex's. We chat occasionally and there has never been a problem. I have a man that I have been with for a long time. My ex knows that I am not single and he has known that for a long time. I have never lied to him or said I wanted him back. I just wanted to stay friends. I guess I will have to break ties with him. It would have been nice to stay friends, but I guess he can't. So I will just ignore him from now on. Thanks for answering.
