    2257 clarification

    im just curious...

    im from Asia and i am asian. what if i would like to open a paysite. can i put at the bottom of my site "I dont give a fuck about 2257, its a US law and im not under its jurisdiction"

    or... is it really a US law?

    i really dont have an idea about it... if you find my question silly, kick me then gfy

        On a more serious note, I'd recommend that you always have the documentation, even if you don't need it because of your country's laws.

        Also, without 2257, US-based webmasters are going to have a hard time promoting you.

          Nope if you're not a US citizen you don't need the documentation but if you're starting a new site I really don't see why you wouldn't have it and considering the bulk of your sales are going to come from the US I'd probably play ball just to be a nice guy.
