Yo, dude was just on tv and camera crews caught vid of alligators swimming through the streets attacking cars!

Dude showed up and rescued two people who were trapped in their car!

The gators they showed on tv were fucking big! Tune in and they may repeat the video footage!

Jesus, what a nightmare for everyone...its' not bad enough that they have to worry about drowning, or losing their homes, finding shelter or even food, they now have to worry about becoming food.

Although gators are usually peaceful - the tampering with their habitats by humans have made them extremely aggressive. So this really does not surprise me, especially given the circumstances

That has got to be the same incident. The link I posted is from the N'Orleans tv station local. It's got the best live coverage I've seen so far. That gator footage was fucking scary. I've been around gators. They are no fucking joke when pissed off. A 10 ft gator can tear a car apart EASY.

Not only gators and sharks but snakes. Louisiana is like snake capital. They warned about snakes from day one.

The sewage will probably kill or run the sharks off quick. They breathe water. The gators and snakes don't so they'll be around.

Just wait til the mosquitoes take hold and advance in about a week. It's gonna be crazy. They have to spray at least once a week to prevent it.

The news is saying the only way to communicate is via the Internet.

thats not theoly problem, sea lions, seals, all types of animals got loose. They had to shoot a sea lion in slidell cuz it got in someones yard and they couldnt contain it. I'm off to the redcross in about an hour. This shit is way too close to home for me not to help out, there are 7 shelters less then a 1/4 mile from my house right now

Take a vid cam with you, laptop something you can give a report from the scene on. I can get that info to the news services if you want. It would allow for peope who can't be there to help to know where things should go.

Gadzooks! I almost forgot! That happened during Hurricane Andrew too! Lions and shit were wandering about.

Why did they have to shoot a sea lion? Normally they'll not attack. The big penguins will kick your ass but seals and sea lions will leave you alone unless you get stupid.

They're basically big evolved swimming dogs.

Believe it or not, Sea Lions can be nasty. I've been out surfing and was chased out the of the water by one. Elephant seals are very aggressive too.

My cousins raise gators in Florida. They know gators inside and out. They told me that the major problem is most gators never taste human flesh. When they do, they'll hunt people. They're like big cats who are mankillers. Once they find humans an easy kill they're a problem for life. You have no choice but to destroy the animals.

These gators, some are wild, some are people's pets like that one in the lake here in California. Also, boa constrictors, pythons etc. That area is a reptile's heaven.
