What is the possibility of someone listening in on my Skype calls?

It's extremely unlikely. Is he very tech-savvy? Does he have access to your Skype account?

He is a tech wizard.. and he set up the account for me, and I changed the password when I installed it.

There was some bug in Skype not too long ago. It was possible to "spy" on a skype-user. I don't really know what they could see or if they could listen to your calls.

If someone know your username & pass. They can login on another computer at the same time you're logged in. And they will see every chat msg. you send and receive.

(Don't know if it's working with the newest version)

The encryption Skype uses is intense.
Look for things closer to home, ie keyloggers.

I have run every spyware and virus scan that I can think of and they find nothing .. I made that password particularly difficult on purpose..

but I don't really think that his inside info is from psychic powers.. we don't live in the same state or even associate with the same people so how else could he know specifics of my private conversation...

Virus checkers probably won't pick up most keyloggers, they're usually custom - or hardware, attached to your box somewhere.

Simple solution is to make a new skype account, and if he becomes privy to that information, you know that your box or physical environment has been compromised.

If he is tech sevy, good chance he set something up to monitor your conversations, it's not exactly hard to setup a keylogger on your computer...

it is extremely easy to listen to voip calls I have done so on many occations (just for fun though) If you want to prevent this from happening do not use a wireless router and make sure the phone is not wireless.

as it the easiest program to use for voip interception.
If you want to find out for sure speak to a friend using voip and talk a load of shit make it sound real though and if he comes back to you with that info then you will know for sure

There is a program called spector pro. It's great, nothing detects it. I don't sell it. Maybe I should check for an affiliate program.

You need to format you computer. They also have a program called Eblaster and it wont be detected either. Will email him all your chats.

one of my girlfriends was being monitored by her x. he also is 'very tech savvy'. he was aware of every keystroke she made. a close friend of ours helped her out so the x could no longer get away with it.
