They have made record profits for many quarters,, why the hell are they allowed to keep profits up after a disaster??? Why can't they dontate or take a cut due to the disaster? I know they got hit too,, but why do prices have to raise because of that? They are fucking loaded so why can't they HELP instead of take the same in a disaster? I'm asking because I don't understand.

Ya... it's funny how they are making record profits... (exxon mobile made I believe 7.6 BILLION last quarter) and at the same time they are receiving tax breaks.
Even worse is the airlines are in horrible shape (party due to high oil prices, mostly poor management) and because of this most of them are in or near bankruptcy and the govt is bailing them out with discounted fuel.
Doesn't make sense and most people would rather sit around and bitch about high gas prices and all of the other fucked up things with our govt but we keep voting these fuckers in to office.Comment
