I laughed at first too! Reminded me of an episode of 'The Simpsons'.

msnbc had footage of ppl looting in walmart and right along next to them were nola police in uniform with full shopping wagons...

Oh I don't think they were looting. Just recovering stolen goods.

Bottom line is they ain't got enough cops to cover this disaster. Not enough National Guard nor Coast Guard either.

We need a national rescue team effort where everyone should get CPR training or something similar so that the strain on doctors and cops is eleviated.

I am guessing the rich people that own the jewelry stores bagged it all up and took it on the plane

Maybe they are looting Walmart cause everything is under water and they need basic goods like food, clothes and hygiene products
