I pretty much hate BlockBuster because they keep flushing out the older movies to make way for either:

A). Retarded low-budget movies
B). "Its ok to be gay" type movies

Fucking keep the classics you dicks and quit ordering the homemade marathon bs

Well, IMO City of God is waaaaaaay better than Carandiru...

While both are based on real stories, Carandiru was interesting to have an idea how the biggest jail in Brazil used to work and to see something about that final massacre. It doesn't really have a story or Babendo, the director, simply failed while trying to film it. The book is a lot better.

Now City of God is a tottaly different story: very well produced, directed and edited! Plus the story kick ass!
