Anyone use Adbrite? Do they have USA traffic ?
I feel robbed.
I set up an account with adbrite earlier this week and I am waiting for the account to be approved. I got about 50 things going on at once so not something I check on often, as I monitor my hits coming in several times a day I don't see any traffic from them so I figured it still had not been approved.
I notice a nice little jump in traffic just after midnight tonight, about an extra 30 hits a minute coming in, so I check and it is from adbrite. 2 minutes later I got a signup... fucking right hunh? looking good.
tilll I logged in... I see i have sent 1500 hits so far and I have spent $300 already. Apparently what was happening was since i set a daily budget of $100.00 (thankfully) so each new day, they flipped the switch on and i got nailed and in matter of 20 minutes and then I was maxed out. So I did not notice this through out the day as i checked my stats.
The thing that really pissed me off was when i set up the campaign I selected geotargeting and United States only. I see now my campaign is set to " any traffic ". I go to check ips and 80% of them are Asia Pacific Network, NOT ONE is from the US. So I take that off and click again to only accept US traffic.
In the last 20 minutes I have had 5 hits come in since I made the switch to US only. 4 were from Asia and 1 from Amsterdam. I guess they were from people who already had the page loaded. 20 minutes and still no US Traffic.
It is amazing I managed to get 1 signup.
