its pretty overcast and windy here

i'm sure its crazy in Baton Rouge and anything lower than that

I tried calling my sister who is in BR to see how it was, no answer.

no answer from my friends in NOLA either , sucks.

It's not really about them being prepared. The way that New Orleans was built and laid out makes it very vulnerable to storms that come into the area from certain directions.
