Not a problem keeping that under wraps Rochard - the US govt is not alone in this. There is *plenty* stuff govts do that is successfully kept quiet and doubt even the leaders of these countries have to know - unless they knew where to look
Several EU govts have done the same thing as the US in attempting to destroy the immune system. Got no idea how far they have developed this, but doubt it's too sophisticated, mainly because some agents are just too damned hot to even disperse, - nevermind handle.
When Ebola hit Marburg the WHO went into a complete panic internally and afraid to declare the possible damage internationally, but quietly tried to "manage" flights around the world where there was the prospect of the Ebola agent being carried. This was a "hot agent" which multiplied itself rapidly and.... dunno the current status (prob nobody has attempted to find out), from the Reston outbreak, there is evidence of the possibilty Ebola can be carried in the air.

Ebola is an example and not any known natural "species" - even in Africa.
