You still have to scroll but in that tiny little box on top instead of in the thread.

I'm getting like an iFrame at the top of the page that contains other threads but if I click any of them it just refreshes the thread I'm on...

BTW thats called "threaded mode" to switch back go to the bar on the top "display modes" and hit "linear mode"
