WII or xbox360 or PS3

yo guys im debating which one to get..

from a single guy living alone standpoint i think i might go with the WII for now.. seems to be a good way to keep chics entertained too?

who knows any good games in wii??

or should i go xbox360?

for games, i would get the 360. however, chicks that came over to my place loved the Wii. i would pass on the ps3, but if you think of the price, funk it and get a 360 and Wii

PS3 Blu-ray movies are the shit! And once you buy the piece of shit HD-DVD player for the XBox360 it's about the same price as the PS3, but the player is pure crap.

wii's cute type fun, 360 has games... dunno much about ps3's. I'm guessing some of the sports games (bowling, and crap like that) on the wii are fun because they're more interactive with that wacky controller setup.

i stand by my statement, the XBox 360 HD-DVD player is pure crap, one of the lowest end HD-DVD players on the market. It doesn't even have an HDMI output... LOL, what a joke.

I have all 3.
The wii was fun for the first 2 weeks, but the novelty wears off really fast. Sometimes you just want to chill out and play a game, and even with playing madden you need to make retarded hand movements to pass the ball, juke etc.

The ps3 is ok, mostly for the bluray player. The games so far are decent, nothing special

The 360 is my favorite, lots of people on xbox live, some very good titles and more and more game co's are finally understanding how to fully use the 360's resources

360 and ps3 have great looking graphics, no doubt, but Wii's got a higher fun factor, which is the reason you'd play a game to begin with!

I have both and don't see any noticable difference in the output. The only issue I have is that BluRay movies seem to cost $5 - 10 more than HDDVD titles.

You can't compare the Wii to the 360 or ps3.

Wii is cheap, buy it and have fun. I plan to get one if I ever see one in a store, but they're always sold out.

360 beats the ps3 hands down.

In regards to the hd-dvd addon not having hdmi, it doesn't matter. Component and VGA still carry 1080p just aswell as HDMI. Only difference is you can't get TrueHD audio exept with HDMI or multichan analog. Most people don't have the audio equiptment to hear the difference anyways.

PS3 also doesn't have a built in upscaler which fucked alot of people with older HD that can only receive 1080i.

I myself have all 3 systems and for recommondations, I'd say go with the Xbox360. The Wii is fun, the sports games that come with it, you'll play for a while, especially when people are over, HOWEVER, when you just want to sit down and play a kick ass game, the 360 is the way to go. If you want to keep the chicks entertained, wait until Guitar Heroes 2 comes out for the Xbox360 in another couple of months and you'll be set.

Back to the Wii, the thing I hate about it is the the fact that it's NOT hi-def, so when I go from the 360 to the PS3, graphics are mind blowing, then I fire up the old non-hi-def Wii and it really doesn't look too hot on my 40-inch LCD tv.

As far as the PS3 goes, if you want a system that has a LOT of potential, jump on one. There's not a lot of games out for it now, but in the coming months, there's some good ones coming out. I do love my PS3

One other neat thing about the Xbox360 is that if you have Windows Vista, I believe that you can download movies/pics on your PC and wirelessly send them to your tv through the 360.

I never even knew about the feature until my son popped on my 360 and a message came up in Vista asking if I wanted to configure it to work with the 360.
