I have good luck with smart ftp
I used to use cuteftp, or there is leapftp, although I dont think those are free.Coming Soon! -
SmartFTP is a very nice looking program but I also have issues with it not sending every file. I still use an ancient free version of WSFTP for many uploads.Comment

I use FTP Commander, the interface is old, but it's free and damned reliable.Comment

FTP Surfer is a small, free FTP. No big frills, but it usually does the job.Comment
