Your templates are not built from the ground up they are free templates offered on many sites.
All he did was take a base from the many wordpress templates out there! HAHHA just go here and you can find them http://www.alexking.org/index.php?co...ess/styles.php Odds are very high the very "template" he is using is on that site. It's so easy to put a logo at the top of your wordpress blogs.
I can see paying for an entire CUSTOM theme. But not some simple base when all you did was change the background color in CSS and put in a tiny graident.

Umm...not sure where you people are getting at.
I take a base template and modify it to fit the customer's needs. Sometimes the client just wants the base template, in which case it is not custom.
Most of the time the templates are heavily modified inside and out, but of course I start with a base template.- David Hall

I don't know Bangman personally and have not purchased any work from him but he does go quite far beyond what a default wordpress template like "bionic jive" does. In terms of design & useability that is. I am impressed with what he does at teenieupdate.comComment
