blah blah blah..i knew this response was coming....read my thread again...i was asking who the techies are on GFY, other than those that just do web stuff.

everyone always says why would you have to have a degree or certifications to know computers. and the ones that say that are the ones that always don't have the certifications....

and just an example...two awesome techies are real experts with computers, but one has all the certifications and a four year degree and the other one doesn't have shit! who would you hire now? the one without anything to show for?????

and guess what....having a degree and those certifications show that a person is not lazy and willing to study and endour four years (or 6 for a masters degree)...it shows a little something about their character compared to a person with nothing to show for....

it gets to me when people open there mouth talking about "why would you want to graduate from college and have all those certifications. just to have a paper to hang on the wall?"
