Ask them nicely to see if they can just issue you one combined check for 20.00

It is worth a shot but I would understand if they say no.

I do feel your pain. I once while cleaning of my desk placed a ccbill check worth a nice lil chunk into my shredder.

The problem is they have to put a stop payment on it, wait until it's offically stopped, and then issue another check. This takes up the time of their accounting department and bank fees. While this seems petty to you, I'm guessing CCBill has an accounting department and perhaps a few staff members dedicated to tracking stop payments and sending out new checks.

I would be questioning why so many of your checks get lost more than the fee

Yeah I wasn't very happy about that when I had a check missing a couple months ago.

YEah, I was reconciling the year and had 4 checks missing, all of them older than 180 days, (therefore expired)... they STILL insisted on the stop payment fee for each.

                Sucks.

                        No.

ACH would rock if they would get it (like Verotel, and B-H-E provide). Then you get your money without a $15 per wire fee.

they have wire thats for one

the 180 day thing is BS because in most cases it will go thru if you put it into a bank, imagine how many people write on their check 2006 as the year forgetting its 07, it happens every january you think banks are returning millions of checks, so they have to do the stop

they aint making a killing off ya I dont care how big their account is they still pay a fee to stop a check I pay 25 bucks

                            so there ya have it

Ya, I can never fucking understand why Paycom doesn't have ACH either, it ain't hard, so they must be not doing it for some reason.

I can say with great confidence, who ever does that first (Paycom or CCBill) will become my main processor instantly.
