What good is a PSP?

im thinking that

besides the novelty of it.. i mean fuck.. i couldnt think about buying my dvd collection again + 10 bucks more per disk

now.. if we can burn those fuckers.. that would be hot

well there is a psp binaries group... and most of the shit is in ISO's so theres gotta be a way to burn the shit....

i've also seen software that'll take your dvds and convert them to psp for ya..

You need to buy flash memory to put your games on. You cannot burn your own disks.

And, of course, flash memory for PSPs costs a lot of money, and you need at least 1 gig to make it worth it.

PSP sucks. Sony just wanted to recycle their PS2 technology to make more money, before launching their PS3 next year.

i have a ps2... i was going to get the xbox but the controller made me homicidal, so i passed.

i never understood the psp hoopla either, why would i want to buy psp dvd disc so i can watch movies on a tiny ass screen

I bought a 1gig memory stick...

you can put whole movies on it...game isos.... mp3 etc.... I love it...

you don't have to watch it in your living room you know....you can bring in on a plane...in a car etc...

Plus that shit has wireless internet...I can play online with the free netcafe network next to me...you have a webbrowser etc... and IM app will follow shortly...

you might as well ask why buy a Palm...or a Treo... A lot of office app are coming out for the PSP, and you can buy a keyboard for it...+ the games of course...

Maybe it's for people who like to have their music, games and videos all in one place, for things like travelling.

Also, it will work with the PS3. the PSP came out AFTER the PS2 so of course it won't work on the PS2.

My brother works at Best Buy and he said the PSPs totally tanked, they can't get rid of them.

I think the problem with PSPs is they simply do too much. They boast all of the extras as good features to have, but really... who wants to carry around a clunky PSP to listen to music when MP3 Players are smaller than a deck of cards and cost a fraction of the price.

good example of the PSP's multiple features!...

and to the one saying an mp3 player is smaller...sure..I got an ipod mini...

but you can't watch movies or browse the web on it!....

and of course...the games damn it...it's a fucking portable playstation....all this stuff is just extra...check out the nintendo DS for example..won't do 1/10th of what the PSP can do...i don't see why people are whining...the psp is a great tool and a cool gaming console
