I just read another article about this. I'm struck by how backwards the whole thing sounds: Youtube can't negotiate a mutually acceptable amount to pay for the use of stolen content, so they're "forced" to pull it. Instead of whinging about Viacom losing the "benefit" of being on YouTube, shouldn't they should be thankful that they haven't been sued to hell and back for blatant copyright infringement?

It's only a matter of time before there's a BIG case and youtube starts to collapse in on itself.
