I've never had a problem going from Canada to the US.... but I always get hassled coming back into Canada. Same with 99% of the people I know.

Same here, of all people I should be pulled aside entering the US for profiling, but I've never had a problem. I've had more hassles coming back into Canada though.

Canadian Customs definitely suck. I constantly get searched, even though I have a clean rap, no criminal record, don't fit any kind of profiles. Last year driving back from Florida, I had a nice 2 hour stay at Canadian customs while they checked on my luggage (through xrays even though I was driving), checked my car with devices and underneath the car to see if I was transporting anything and looking everywhere for cash and merchandise with tags. No wonder we're like a terrorist hub now, they are only concerned with people who they think might be bringing back undeclared goods. I even told them that, they're more concerned that I'm hiding a pair of Nikes than looking for guys with guns and drugs.
