Having bad traffic and how to get better...

    ... Yeah, you tell me

Being relatively new to the biz, I decided to focus on (relative) niche markets like gaydating. I got my first site up (check sig for link, comments are welcome) and then I went and bought some traffic from trafficholder.

An excellent site but the conversionrate of my traffic has been depressingly low... Over 7000k and only 2 subscriptions... What could I be doing wrong, anyone got a clue what to do?

    Join lists? Sure... which ones?
Link trades? Fine by me, with who do I trade?
Buy other site traffic? Sounds like a plan, tell me where to click!

btw: the traffic I bought from Holder was pics_gay/go_gays and gaymenring... any suggestions on hot gay dating niche sites?

My first suggestion would be to use the 2 sales yu made to buy hosting.
Earn up to $.03 per Visitor -> No Click Monetization!

All right, so no more hosting on GoDaddy... Look into that. Anything else?
