Jane, the little monsters(the cats) break plenty of shit too. Nothing like getting up in the morning and having your garbage can knocked over from those filty little things. And at least a kid won't shit in your yard and cover it just enough for you to step in shit (Cat shit is the worst thing you can have on your shoe).
Keep your cat locked up and I promise to keep my kid away from the slingshot.
Of course, my dog does loves to chase them down and shake the living hell out of them. I guess they do serve a purpose.
