It's cheesy, but when I was married, my now ex put birdseed in the front yard in the outline of a heart. What wasn't covered in birds you could still see the heart. What made it sweeter was his total disregard for the money we had to pay for sod to replace this gift ;)

I had another guy get one of those yard sign services to cover my lawn in little wooden red, pink and white hearts.

When I was a single parent living paycheck to paycheck a guy bought me about $300 worth of food for Valentine's Day - again, cheesy but it worked

      Anal.

Seriously, that's all we really want for Valentine's Day. And maybe an expensive purse.

I would do a Ferris Buellers day off...

plan 5 or six things take the day off (which you will not but lets pretend you will). Have a nice frame from like Tiffany's with a picture of the two of you sitting on the table with a mamosa and a chocolate covered strawberry (or the likes)...have a town car waiting to pick her up and take her for a massage...then have a place when she is done to go get a new outfit (picked out and arranged with someone there)...then have the car take her to an airport where you will meet her and then Heli or charter a plane to go to san diego or nappa where you should go check out some theatre or a live show and then go to a nice dinner and hotel to top off the evening where you will have arranged to have some lingerie wrapped and waiting on your arrival.

Mamosa (all depends if the chmpagne is blue nun or Moet) OJ ($1.00)
Frame ($100.00) heart shaped if available sterling slver
        Strawberry ($3.00)
        Town Car $300.00
Massage Burke Williams ($200.00) with other foo foo options
Out fit $500.00 *very important that shoes are included
        Plane (Dave discounted rate)
        Tickets for a show ($80-200.00)
Hotel (let's say $450.00 and that is a little high)
        Lingerie ($175.00)

I have you without the Dave hook up for a flight... just under 2k you would never be able to put a price tag on the mindblowing day she would have that you prepared.

I agree, I think sometimes its these Cheesy things that make it all worth it.
I just hate the fact that because its that day you have to send Flowers to the office. I rather send flowers when they are not expecting it then on a day they just know it could happen.

seems like you had some good ones, thanks for sharing.

One year neither one of my good friends nor I were seeing anyone and we both worked in offices where we KNEW the flowers were going to come flooding in. So we sent each other flowers with a "Love always, Me" card.

I will deny this, but I am single this year,so I'll help another brother out.
Back in FLA, I was dating this chick I worked with for about 2 years.
One night in the beginning she told me about how she was an only child and would make tea for her dolls and a stuffed Horse and little cakes with her easy bake oven. She always said, "If you tell anyone I told you, I will deny it"

Y'know, it was one of those sharing moments

So for Valentines Day. I arranged with a friend of mine at a local restaurant to hold a table for us. (all day I played like I forgot).
When we got to the table there were 2 porcelain dolls, (collectors stuff) , a stuffed pony, and an easy bake oven set up on the table with a tea set I got from an antique shop.

                                          She cried.
It was about remembering something so little from one of our first dates. I don't know why but chicks like that shit. If you can prove that you were listening, you will get a tear or 2, and some good nookie for a while, and she will tell her friends what you did, setting you up for the rebound score if you break up.(did I mention I was single?)
