    Pain Meds... what are the best?

    I need something stronger then Vicodin that won't put me to sleep. Is there anything?

    I have a root canal on thursday but wanted to get something that will let me work tommorow.

          when i had back pains, i told my dr. how Vicodin made me sleepy
          and she gave me darvocet instead.

          you stay very alert and it takes care of the pain.

                                      Vicodin/Vicaprophin aren't shit. When I had to have a root canal, they gave me Codine. Some decent pain killer, but lived up to the side effects for me. Especially the depression. Managed to kill the pain, but the side effects sucked.

                                      I've heard that the other medicines mentioned are heavenly.
