dont drink alcohol or anything fizzy.
Try and sleep, drink a heap of bottled water - one an hour was always my trick.
That way you sleep for an hour or so and wake up needing to take a piss because of all the water, get up and walk the long way to the toilet, drink another bottle of water and go back to sleep.
You'll get off the plane feeling great.
I used to fly from Australia to New York (about 22 hours total travelling time) or back the other way pretty much every weekend for about 6 months at one stage, and I found that routine worked pretty well for me.
