    Is this a good deal? Ebay auction for Canon 20D Camera

    I am in the market for a 20D and was wondering if this was a good deal, if not where is the best place to get a deal on one.

      Seller in canada, so you avoid customs... but it's around 1800-2000$CAD new in store... i would go new if I could. You are paying 85% of it's value from that ebay auction..

          This one is new as well. I saw one at future shop today for $1999.95 CDN and I think it came with a lens. I also just found one in Toronto for $1700 CDN for the body so might pick that one up tomorrow if I can get a cash deal.

                      is extended warranty a very good investment? has anyone had to persue their extended warranty on a canon, specifically the 20d?

                          I totally agree here. For lights, hard cases, tapes, and stuff I'll buy new off ebay, but for electronics go with a reputable company. B and H are the best.... and very reasonable.
