De man uit Florida is aangehouden wegens onzedelijk gedrag.

                                                                      De Amerikaase politie benadrukte dat de arrestatie niets te maken heeft met de oorlogsbeelden. Op de internetpagina staat met nadruk dat het beheer vanuit Amsterdam plaatsvindt en dat de pornografische inhoud daarom onder Nederlandse wetten en regels valt. De domeinnaam staat geregistreerd bij een bedrijf in Utrecht. De site was zaterdag nog gewoon bereikbaar.


                                                                      Oorlogsfoto's

                                                                      Het Amerikaanse leger voerde eerder deze maand een onderzoek uit naar de herkomst van oorlogsfoto's. Soldaten die de foto's zouden hebben opgestuurd, kregen in ruil gratis toegang tot pornoplaatjes op dezelfde site. En hoewel de uniformen van de soldaten op de foto's Amerikaans lijken, kon het Pentagon niet met zekerheid vaststellen dat Amerikaanse militairen de beelden hebben opgestuurd en of er echte oorlogsslachtoffers op de foto's staan.

                                                                      Vulgair materiaal

                                                                      Grootschalige verspreiding van obsceen materiaal is de belangrijkste van de driehonderd aanklachten tegen de man. "Dit is een van de meest verschrikkelijke voorbeelden van vulgair, obsceen materiaal dat we ooit hebben gezien", aldus de verklaring van het hoofd van het regionale politiedistrict in Florida. Het onderzoek gaat door en de politie deelt alle informatie met het leger, zei hij.
