especially since a lot of sponsors have a minimum of only $50-$100

yeah, in the beginning there would be lots of sponsors with 1 or 2 sales at them. So that means, you would have to pay even if you haven't received the money from all the sponsors.
Another issue would be tracking referrers for sponsors who aren't offering that link=lalala stuff

Isnt this the same as 3rd part BCs, like CCBill, already been doing for long time?

this is what I like about CCBill based sponsors - all your earnings go into one pot. But there are lots of sponsors that don't pay via CCBill.
